What is a Training Cohort?

In 2021, SASE Pro began working with trainers and ERGs to identify small-group training topics for the professional development of individuals within specific career levels. The 2021 Executive Presence cohort was so successful that other cohorts soon followed.

Over the years, SASE Pro has developed additional cohorts for individual contributors, managers, executives, and ERG leaders. Each program is led by trusted SASE training partners and generally run weekly or bi-weekly over the course of multiple months. This approach fosters greater engagement and development through a highly interactive small-group & cross-disciplinary environment. 

Training cohorts focus on specific building blocks for professionals facing similar career challenges.





Be Seen as a Leader
Facilitated by Dr. Payal Beri, RK Empathy

Commitment: Nine weeks

90-minute workshops 1x / week

Audience: New managers of others or individual contributors moving to management, ~5-12 years of experience

Be Seen as a Leader is a leadership training cohort designed to help Asian professionals build their career, overcome imposter syndrome, and embody the qualities of a leader. Attendees will learn valuable concepts such as being able to self-identify in the workplace, define their North star, take ownership, and learn the power of influence with leaders and stakeholders. 

XCORE Asian Leadership Programs

Estimated Time of Year:  Spring and Summer

Commitment: 5-6 Months

LITE: bi-weekly 1.5 hr. workshops for 4 months + EIGHT 1:1 coaching sessions
PRO: bi-weekly 2 hr. workshops for 5 months + TEN 1:1 coaching sessions

Audience: Professionals with 5+ years of experience

XCORE is designed to provide a unique management-level leadership training to address issues facing Asian professionals. XCORE is split into XCORE LITE and XCORE PRO. Attendees will join a cohort to attend workshops, have core group coaching sessions, and grow their own leadership style with 1:1 coaching. Through topics such as the Five Voices and Five Gears, attendees will grow their own leadership style while improving their ability to communicate with others.







Amplify Your Strategic Impact
Facilitated by Rebecca Okamoto, Evoke

Commitment: Nine weeks

2.5 Hours/week (90-min. workshop, 30-60 min. personal work)

Audience: High-potential senior leaders / junior executives with 12+ years experience

Amplify Your Strategic Impact is an executive coaching program for newer executives and high-potential managers who are aligning and influencing executive stakeholders. Attendees will learn how to identify what an executive audience is looking for and create compelling communications, shift their mindset from operational to executive, and demonstrate their ability to guide strategic outcomes.

ERG Leader Program
Facilitated by Jim Lee, B-SPOKE

Estimated Time of Year:  Spring through Fall

Commitment: 1-hour workshop 2x/month, 13 sessions total

Audience: Current or incoming Asian ERG leaders (enterprise or site)

The ERG Leader Program is designed for Asian ERG Leaders looking to align their ERG activities with their organization’s business strategy to drive success. Whether driving the creation of a new ERG, starting a new local chapter of an existing ERG, or making plans to take the ERG to the next level and ensure its longevity, the ERG Leader Program will build skills needed to grow the community within a company.
