2020 SASE Collegiate Stars
SASEStar2020Timeline
The SASE Stars program annually recognizes the volunteers and professionals who stand out as leaders and help SASE's mission. This is an opportunity to highlight and award those who display dedication, impact, and leadership in their past, current, and future work/initiatives.

Except for the Collegiate Stars, the other Star nominations are open only to those with national SASE involvement. However, we encourage you to nominate even when unsure of the full qualifications of the nominee - we will filter out those that don't qualify.

The SASE Stars program recognizes the volunteers and professionals who stand out as leaders and help SASE's mission.  Nominees will be processed through two judging panels who are looking for these qualities: dedication, impact, and leadership. During judging, the nominee's names will be hidden to avoid judging bias, so please make your answers as descriptive and meaningful as possible.

The awarded candidate should meet the following requirements and expectations:
Collegiate Star:  any collegiate member from any school/region, previous recipients are not eligible
Emerging Star:   ☆ 1-2 years of SASE National involvement
Rising Star:   ☆ 2-4 years of SASE National involvement
Shining Star:   ☆ 4+ years of SASE National involvement

The selected recipients will be required to attend the National Conference’s Dinner Gala, which will be held on October 9, 2020 to receive their award. They will also be interviewed (via phone/video conference) and featured in the annual SASE magazine. Finally, they will be asked to join the judging panel for 2021 SASE Stars.
